Razor Barbed Wire

Razor barbed wire is a high-security fencing material made from sharp-edged steel strips wrapped around a core wire. It is designed to deter intruders and is widely used for securing military sites, borders, prisons, and industrial zones. The wire delivers strong psychological and physical barriers. It is classified by blade shape (short, medium, or long), coil type (concertina or flat wrap), and core wire material (galvanized or stainless steel). Razor wire offers quick installation and strong perimeter protection.

Core Wire Diameter: Usually 2.5 mm, but can range from 2.0 mm to 3.0 mm.
Blade Material: Made from galvanized steel or stainless steel for rust resistance.
Blade Thickness: Blades are usually 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm thick.
Barb Spacing: The distance between barbs is around 15 mm to 100 mm.
Coil Diameter: Common coil sizes are 450 mm, 600 mm, and 900 mm.
Coil Length: When stretched, each coil can cover 8 m to 15 m.
Number of Loops: Each roll usually has 33 to 55 loops, depending on the size.
Blade Type: Types include BTO (Barbed Tape Obstacle) and CBT (Concertina Barbed Tape).
Coating: Covered with zinc or made of stainless steel to prevent rust.
Uses: Used for military bases, prisons, borders, factories, and walls for high security.
